Students are you interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee with your friends? come out and play in the Ultimate Frisbee Club at the field behind John Herrs every Friday right after school at 3 pm. For more information talk to either Steven Fafel or Jared Mylin.
Seniors: The early dismissal days in November are right around the corner. If you want to be able to leave with the underclassmen, you need to complete your graduation project now. Make an appointment with your guidance counselor or see an administrator for more details.
Any student who is interested in signing up for Yearbook Club should pick up an application on the counter of the main office. Applications are due Friday, September 18th!
Do you have school spirit? We’re looking for students with lots of school spirit and energy to be our school mascot, also known as Cometman this year. If interested, please stop in the athletic office to see Mr. Roth or Mrs. Bachman.
Club Sign-Ups will be available from Monday, September 14th through Friday, September 18th. Check the link on the upper right hand corner of the high school blog for the club booklet with descriptions of the clubs as well as dates and locations that they meet and the google form to sign up for clubs with open enrollment. See Ms. O’Connor if you have any questions.
Are you interested in the field of science? Do you want to be part of a nationally recognized organization to boost your transcript? If so, please considering joining the Science National Honor Society. Applications can be picked up outside Room 393.
f you have missed the deadline to sign up for SAT’s and are a junior or senior interested in participating in any postsecondary education you should sign up to take the ACT here at Penn Manor on October 24th. Any college will accept either the SAT or ACT scores. You can sign up to take the ACT here by registering at www.act.org. The deadline to sign up is this Friday, September 18th. If you have any questions please see your Counselor. There are also study guides available in the Counseling Office.
Attention FFA Livestock Exhibitors–Your thank you cards are due this Friday, September 18th to an FFA advisor. Please see an advisor if you have any questions or need thank you cards.
Attention all FFA members–Tickets for FFA Family Day are available. Bring your family to Washington Boro Park on October 11th to eat some great food, play some games, and get to know each other. Students in spring ag classes should report to room 340 to get tickets and more information–all ag students are invited!
Students interested in being a part of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) should complete an application and return it to Mrs. Craig by 8 AM on Friday. Applications are available from the bulletin board outside of room 100.
