Juniors and Seniors –if you are thinking that you may want to go a Christian college you should plan to attend the Christian College Fair at Lancaster County Christian School on October 8th from 7-9pm. Stop in the Counseling Office for a flyer.
Registration for Penn Manor Rec Basketball will be held on Monday, October 5th in the High School cafeteria, Tuesday, October 6th at Manor Middle and Wednesday, October 7th at Marticville Middle. From 6-8 PM. Information forms can be picked up in the Main Office.
If you are interesting in joining Politics Club, please contact Mr. Urban or stop by room 310 for details. Politics Club is geared towards informing and educating students about political happenings in their community, state, and nation. Partnered with the Mayor of Millersville, Richard Moriarty, this club allows students to research and discuss local government action as well as various political parties and ideologies in their community. Numerous local politicians and government officials speak to the club on a regular basis. Again, Please see Mr. Urban in room 310 for more details.

The Horatio Alger Scholarship is for students who are on track to graduate in June of 2016 and who intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution. This particular scholarship is based around financial need so the family adjusted gross income should be less than $55,000/year. Recipients should be involved in co-curricular and community service activities with a minimum GPA of 2.0. There are 3 Pennsylvania students who will be selected to receive a $22,000 scholarship and 50 who will be selected for $7,000 scholarships. Apply online. The deadline is October 25, 2015. Any theatre student who has signed up to be a member of Thespians club, or as a cast/crew member should plan to attend a meeting during homeroom on Wednesday. Please report to the auditorium at the beginning of the homeroom period.
All gifted students grades 9-12 will meet in the auditorium during HR on Wednesday Sept 23 (tomorrow/today) at 10:45. Information on new gifted seminars, field trips, clubs, and competitions will be shared. Sign in at the door. Bring all your belongings, you will be dismissed from the auditorium to block 3.
