Registration for Penn Manor Rec Basketball will be held on Monday, October 5th in the High School cafeteria, Tuesday, October 6th at Manor Middle and Wednesday, October 7th at Marticville Middle. From 6-8 PM. Information forms can be picked up in the Main Office.

The homecoming dance will be held at the high school on Saturday October 10 from 7:00 – 10:00. Tickets will be $8 per person or $15 per couple, and will be sold at the door. This dance is semi formal, this means no jeans. If you are bringing a guest that is not a Penn Manor student please pick up a form in the office.

Homecoming week is upon us, which also means Spirit Week. This year a prize will be awarded to the first block with the most participation throughout the week. Prizes may be awarded during each lunch as well.
The days are as follows:
Wednesday: Squad day (dress the same with a group of friends)
Thursday: Color wars (Seniors wear black, Juniors wear gray, Sophomores wear blue, Freshman wear purple).
Friday: Pink out. Wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

Attention Seniors interested in the Visual Arts and Design fields. National Portfolio Day is an opportunity for those who wish to pursue an education in the visual and related arts to meet with representatives from colleges accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Representatives will be available to review your artwork, discuss their programs and answer questions about professional careers in art. Representatives from over 100 schools will be on hand in Philadelphia on November 8th. For more information visit www.portfolioday.net

Seniors: Apply to Indiana University of PA, Millersville, and West Chester University for Instant Admissions Days here at Penn Manor in October. Details and deadlines are available on the counseling blog and in the counseling office.

Attention Athletes. FCA will meet tomorrow morning with Mrs. Kramer in room 236 at 7am. All are welcome, there are no applications, invites, or sign ups to be in this club. Come when you can and we’d love to have you!

Scrubs Clubs Members, please be sure to turn in your field trip permission forms by the end of today. All those going on the trip sound meet in the nurse’s office at 8:30 Wed. morning.

Elected class officers, there will be a mandatory meeting during homeroom today in the large conference room in the main office. Please see Mrs. Marsh if you are unable to attend or have any questions.

Attention Juniors don’t miss your opportunity to visit the Lancaster County CTC. Stop by the counseling office to pick up a field trip form ASAP. Field trip forms are due back the counseling office by 10/16. Questions see your school counselor.
