The homecoming dance will be held at the high school on Saturday October 10 from 7:00 – 10:00. Tickets will be $8 per person or $15 per couple, and will be sold at the door. This dance is semi formal, this means no jeans. If you are bringing a guest that is not a Penn Manor student please pick up a form in the office.
Juniors and Seniors, Harrisburg Area Community College is hosting an Open House on October 17th from 10:00 to 2:00. You will get a chance to explore all of the learning opportunities available and tour the campus. If you are interested pick up a flyer in the counseling office.
Our homecoming game is this Friday! Join us between 5 and 6:30pm on the parking deck to pre-game with food, games, prizes, music, and more! Come out to support our boys on the field and find out who this year’s homecoming queen is! Bring your friends, bring your younger siblings, bring your Uncle Joe, see you there!
Interested in STEM focused careers? Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is hosting an Open house on October 12th. Take the time to explore their campus and learn about all the merit based scholarships they have to offer. If you are interested you can pick up more information in the counseling office.
New Scholastic book orders have arrived! Please stop by the library or select classrooms to get a copy of the October catalogs.
This is a reminder for freshmen, sophomores and juniors. You are scheduled to take the PSAT 9 or PSAT next week on Super Wednesday. Freshmen: visit the College Board PSAT website and review the questions to expect on the PSAT 9. Sophomores and juniors: on this holiday weekend how about dusting off the PSAT Study Guide that you received last week and take the practice test? While you’re at it check the College Board PSAT website for additional test taking tips. If you need a new PSAT Study Guide please stop by the counseling office.
Penn Manor student body and faculty! The Penn Manor Boys Cross Country team is undefeated and going for a perfect season next Tuesday at home at Manor Middle School. Lead by Senior Joel Burkholder and Juniors Doug Kramer and Malachi Lyon the team is 17-0 and will battle Hempfield ( also 17-0) for the top spot in the LL league. Show up at 4:45 to cheer on the girls and then stay for the championship race at 5:15.
