Juniors and Seniors, Harrisburg Area Community College is hosting an Open House on October 17th from 10:00 to 2:00. You will get a chance to explore all of the learning opportunities available and tour the campus. If you are interested pick up a flyer in the counseling office.

Attention Juniors don’t miss your opportunity to visit the Lancaster County CTC. Stop by the counseling office to pick up a field trip form ASAP. Field trip forms are due back the counseling office by 10/16. Questions see your school counselor.

Are you a sophomore interested in learning more about opportunities available to you at the Lancaster Career and Technology Center? If so don’t miss your chance to attend an information session about the LCCTC on 10/20 during homeroom. Visit the high school blog to sign up or use the link on the counseling blog under the events tab to register. You must sign up to attend this presentation. Have questions or need help see your school counselor.

Students interested in taking a college course while in high school: Millersville and HACC both now offer half-price tuition rate to high school students. Sign-up to attend the dual enrollment meeting, mandatory for taking a spring or summer dual enrollment college course. The meeting will be Wednesday, October 21st during homeroom. Sign-up ahead of time and report directly to the bandroom. If you have any immediate dual enrollment questions, please see your counselor.

Attention Scrub Club members: please stop by the Nurse’s office at some point before Oct. 21st to pick up your pass for club photo day! Thank you!

Attention Yearbook Club members: please see Mrs. Murphy in room 327 or 345 to pick up your pass for Club Photo Day! Thank you!

Attention Young Humanitarians: All YHL members should stop by Miss Brady’s office, room 207, to pick up a club photo pass before Wed. October 21. To be in the club photo on Oct 21, you need a club photo pass! Thank you.

Penn Manor is hosting a Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, October 21, at 7 pm in the Auditorium. Plan on attending this informative session to learn about how to plan and pay for college and career school, resources will be available to you and your parents, learn about scholarships and important deadlines. If you have any questions stop by the counseling office.

Internship students: be sure to attend a meeting with Mr. Basile between October 19th and -23rd. The sign up sheet is now available. All 3 items must be signed.

Attention students: If you would like to be a member of this year’s Mock Trial Team, please attend a sign-up and organizational meeting on Tuesday, Oct 20 at 3pm. The meeting will be held in Room 303. If you can not attend the meeting, see Mr. Boxleitner at some point beforehand.

Attention all theatre students – this is a reminder that all apple dumpling order forms are now due! We must have your order form so that we can order supplies and ingredients… if you have not given it to Mrs Mintzer yet – it must be turned in by the end of the day on Friday – no exceptions! Drop it off at the HS office or in room 209.

There will be a meeting for any boy interested in trying out for the high school baseball team this spring; on Wednesday, October 21, @ 7:00pm in the high school cafeteria. Meeting should last about 20 to 30 minutes. Any questions see Coach Zander , Coach Stuart, or Coach Feger.
