Reminder to students who are interested in dual enrollment. Report to the band room for the mandatory dual enrollment meeting.

Don’t miss out on learning how to pay for college and career schools. Come to Financial Aid Night Tonight in the Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. This event will give you resources for financial aid process, provide information on how to plan and pay for post secondary education. There is so much to learn; don’t miss it tonight at 7 p.m. If you have any questions stop by the counseling office.

In honor of our last home football game, the activities club will be sponsoring a football throw, called “Comet Toss” during all three lunches on Tuesday, October 20th through Thursday, October 22nd in the cafeteria courtyard. You will get two throws for $1.00 and five throws for $2.00. Each successful throw earns tickets towards a drawing for a $25.00 Sheetz gift card. Please consider supporting our club!

Current sophomores and juniors interested in experiential summer program opportunities in the healthcare industry, business, leadership and international relations (and their parents) are encouraged to attend an informational session held on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Please stop by the counseling office for more information.

There will be a meeting for any boy interested in trying out for the high school baseball team this spring; on Wednesday, October 21, @ 7:00pm in the high school cafeteria. Meeting should last about 20 to 30 minutes. Any questions see Coach Zander, Coach Stuart, or Coach Feger.

Scholastic book orders are due this Friday, October 23rd. Please drop off order forms in the library.

Attention swimmers. There will be a preseason meeting for swimmers and their parents on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:00 pm in room 328. Please see Mrs. O’Day if you have any questions.

This is a reminder to all students interested in going on the Vermont ski trip. Your first payment is due to Miss Beaver by October 27th. There are only 40 seats on the bus and it’s filling up fast. Spaces are given on a first come first served basis, so don’t wait. See Miss Beaver in room 381 if you have any questions.

This is a reminder to all students participating in this years science fair. Student online registration and project proposals are due October 30th. Please see Miss Beaver in room 381 if you have any questions.

Are you a reasonably bright kid interested in playing a grown up board game in competition against like-minded students from other schools? Then you should consider joining the Chess Team. Chess Team practice and the Penn Manor fall chess tournament will be held after school from 3:00 to 4:30 in the library beginning Monday, November second. If you think you are man or woman enough to achieve gaming success against intelligent biped life forms then the Chess Team may be just the thing for you. See Mr. Yearsley in the counseling office if you have any doubts.

Attention any girl interested in playing girls lacrosse- Please come to the auditorium this Thursday during homeroom to the auditorium. We will be discussing important information regarding the season. See you there.

Today is the Dual Enrollment Interest Meeting for spring and summer 2016 in the band room during homeroom. If you signed up online, please report directly to the band room. If you did not sign-up online, please stop by the guidance office this morning.

Need a great Halloween costume at a fair price? Come on down to the theatre department’s costume room! Costumes can be rented for $15 to $25! Please email pennmanorcostumes@gmail.com to schedule a time to come look at our selection!

Attention seniors: If you have not ordered your cap, gown, victory hood, and tassel, you need to do so as soon as possible. The unit must now be ordered online. Please refer to the information that you received at our class meeting for the website and ordering instructions. All orders must be made by November 1. Please see Dr. Gale if you have questions.

Attention any student registered to take ACT’s here at the High School this Saturday. Due to the Millersville Parade, you should plan to give yourself plenty of time to get to the High School. Doors open at 7:15AM. You should use enter campus via the Main Entrance as High School Avenue will not be accessible.  You should park as close to the Ag Wing as possible and enter the doors in back of the Auditorium. Registration will be over at 8AM so please do not be late.
