Attention Seniors who have not yet completed their graduation project: The deadline for turning in your graduation project paperwork is December 22nd. Please turn these forms in to Ms. O’Connor in the office.
In honor of Computer Science Education Week, many teachers are participating in The Hour of Code in their classrooms. Today’s Hour of Code fact is that President Obama has written lines of code with students at the white house.
Attention Penn Manor: Student Council is hosting a MiniTHON dodgeball tournament on December 23rd! Student teams, as well as, Faculty teams are not only welcome but encouraged!!! Registration papers are located in the main office. Teams can consist of 7-10 players and cost is $5 per player. See you there and good luck!
Attention Seniors! We have extended the Krispee Kreme fundraiser until this Friday! Remember this is your last chance to earn a discount on your prom tickets. Sell those donuts!!!
Ho Ho Ho! The class of 2019 is coming your way, selling secret Santa gifts from the 14th-18th at all lunches. You can purchase a gift by filling out a slip of paper saying the gender of your friend, their first block teacher, and a message if you would like. But make sure you don’t put your name, so it’ll stay a secret! Each gift costs 3 dollars. The gift will be delivered to your friends first block on the 21st and 22nd.
Attention NHS Members: The Pancake Breakfast and Wrestling Tournament are this Saturday, December 12th at the High School. Members helping with the breakfast should report to the cafeteria and check in with Mrs. Henderson. Members helping with the wrestling tournament should report to the East Gym and check in with Mrs. Myers. Remember, this is a required event; you should have already notified Mrs. Myers or Mrs. Henderson if you have a schedule conflict.
AB Book orders are due December 15th. Please drop off your orders in at the library to get your items before the holidays.
Students interested in taking courses over the summer, Pennsylvania’s Governor Academy is a five week program that allows students to take courses from five different college campuses to choose from. These schools offer numerous programs such as engineering, mathematics, medicine and agriculture! Please see the Penn Manor Counseling blog for more information!
