The next Manor FFA meeting will be held on Monday, February 1 in room 342 at 7:00-8:30 PM. All students with agriculture classes this school year are welcome to come and give valuable input into your organization. At this meeting, you will get to meet with the FFA Alumni organization. We hope to see many of you there!
Ready to dance the night away? This Saturday is the annual Winter Formal. The scene is the Roaring Twenties, the dress is semi-formal so no jeans, the cost is $5 a person, and the plan is to have fun! We will have music, lights, photos, and balloons! Drinks and pearls will be for sale. The dance runs from 7-10pm. Don’t miss it! Anyone planning on bringing a friend to the dance from another school must get approval, please pick up a form in the office.
German students who are interested in participating in the next exchange with Germany should attend an informational meeting on 2/2/16 at 6 pm in room 201. Sign up for the trip is possible during the meeting and will happen on a first come first serve basis. PM students will travel to Germany June 2017.
Attention theatre students – February is quickly approaching! That means that next week is the deadline for submitting sponsorships for Grease, as well as the registration deadline for those who want to attend our summer trip to the International Thespian Festival in Nebraska in June. We really need to begin making plans – please see Mrs. Mintzer in room 209 ASAP!
Although it doesn’t seem like it, spring is right around the corner! The spring fling crew needs you! Pick up an application in the main office or see coordinators: Morgan Edwards, Will Forrey, Amanda DiCamillo, or Cameron Lovett for one. Please return complete applications to the office no later than Friday, February 12.. At all lunches Wednesday February 3 and Thursday February 4, there will be a table set up for students interested in signing up to be on spring fling crew. Grab and application and fill it out and turn it back in by the time lunch is over!
Attention Scrubs Club Members: If you missed our Jan meeting and intend to go on the field trip, please pick up the necessary additional permission forms in the nurse’s office. These forms are due Thursday Feb 4.
Attention juniors and seniors who are interested in careers available through enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps or through the Naval Reserve Officer Training program. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Quinlan will be here on Wednesday, February third, during homeroom, to talk about the Marine Corps and the NROTC program opportunities. If you have the dedication and or leadership capabilities to be a Marine and would like to learn more then please stop by the counseling office for a pass to attend this meeting. See Mr. Yearsley if you have any questions.
This is a reminder that all Service Learning contracts are due on Monday, February 1st.
