Please come out to Isaac’s on Centerville Road on February 11 any time between 5-9pm for Tri-M date night! You don’t have to bring a date, bring anyone! Family, friends, neighbors, all are welcome to support your Penn Manor Tri-M Chapter. All proceeds will be given to the Music For Everyone. Please come out and show off your comet pride!
German students who are interested in participating in the next exchange with Germany should attend an informational meeting on 2/2/16 at 6 pm in room 201. Sign up for the trip is possible during the meeting and will happen on a first come first serve basis. PM students will travel to Germany June 2017.
Although it doesn’t seem like it, spring is right around the corner! The spring fling crew needs you! Pick up an application in the main office or see coordinators: Morgan Edwards, Will Forrey, Amanda DiCamillo, or Cameron Lovett for one. Please return complete applications to the office no later than Friday, February 12.. At all lunches Wednesday February 3 and Thursday February 4, there will be a table set up for students interested in signing up to be on spring fling crew. Grab and application and fill it out and turn it back in by the time lunch is over!
There will be a spring track meeting on Wednesday February 10th at 6 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria for athletes and parents. Come out and meet the coaching staff and learn about spring track and field. Please see coach Myers in room 309 if you have any questions.
FFA Members: Wednesday is the last day to confirm awards from the fruit sale. Please check the Manor FFA WordPress site for more information.
All JETS Participants The 2016 team has been selected. Please report to room 410 during homeroom on Thursday February 4th to learn how you did and receive your field trip form. Congratulations to all that tried!!
Attention NHS members: Due to the senior class meeting scheduled for Tuesday’s homeroom, we will be unable to have our monthly meeting. Please check the NHS blog for a summary of meeting agenda items that will be posted Wednesday. Remember to also verify the updated list of completed volunteer hours. Senior hours must be completed by April 15th.
This week School Counselors will be in Junior homerooms for PSAT lessons. The following Junior homerooms must to report to homeroom and not club or tutoring today: Mr. Hess, Ms. Wiet/McMullen, and Mr. Eshleman.
Attention juniors and seniors with parking passes, – it is time to renew parking passes for the second semester. The cost to renew parking passes is $20. This can be paid in the main office starting February 1st.. The deadline for collecting parking renewal fees is Monday, February 8th. Students who are unable to pay the entire amount at once, please speak with an administrator at lunch. Seniors who were advanced or proficient on all three Keystone Exams will have their parking fee waived for the second semester. If students do not renew their parking pass or contact an administrator by February 8th, passes may be revoked that week and given to students on the parking pass wait list.
Attention all male athletes, volleyball open gym will continue every Tuesday of February, 6-8 p.m., in the West Gym. Also, if you want to try out for boys volleyball, be sure to get a physical or recertification form in the office. Tryouts begin March 7.
