Are you planning on attending MiniTHON on April 15th? If so, please register by signing up on our donor page and paying the $20 registration fee to Mrs. Kramer or the box in the main office. This is separate from the donation page of $75. Checks can be made payable to “PMHS Student Council”, please make sure your name is indicated on the check or money.
Attention students and teachers! MiniTHON is having a fundraiser at Tropical Smoothie on March 8th from 4-8 pm. So stop on in to buy some dinner, a refreshing smoothie, AND support the Kids! Be sure to tell them it’s for Penn Manor’s MiniTHON! Thanks for any help with this!
The Spring Fling crew has been decided. A list of all crew members is posted outside the main office. There will be a mandatory meeting Tuesday, March 15 in the auditorium during homeroom. Be sure to attend, important information will be given out. Please see Morgan Edwards or Will Forrey with any questions.
Do you remember back in elementary school when you got to act out a reader’s theater play in reading class, or put on a costume and enjoy being silly with your friends? Well, here is the chance to relive your childhood memories. Penn Manor Productions will present Charlotte’s Web on April 22 and 23 for all little Penn Manor Comets to enjoy. We invite you to audition on March 14, 2016 between 4-7 p.m. for a role in the cast. Sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Mintzer’s room 209, complete the audition form and bring it to your audition.Students interested in working backstage should pay attention to further announcements for when you will be needed. All students are welcome to become involved in some way!
The Penn Manor Tri-M Music Honor Society will be hosting it’s second annual Zumbathon right here at the high school! Zumbathon will be on SATURDAY, March 19th at the New Gym from 11-2 pm. There will be zumba, raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and drinks and snacks available for purchase. Please invite your family and friends to come out, all proceeds will go to the Mini thon and the Music for Everyone Organization. Come out and show your comet pride to help this great cause! Tickets will be on sale at the door and during the upcoming week at all lunches.
717-Snacks is open for business. The company is selling Wild Bill’s beef sticks for 75 cents a piece or 3 for 2 dollars and Dubble Bubble gum 4 for 1 dollar! Look for the blue bags!
Think you know your teachers now? What about back then? Come and take a guess at your teachers’ old yearbook photos at lunch all this week, and you might win a free yearbook! Make one guess for 25 cents or guess all 3 photos for 50 cents. Every correct guess gets you entered into a raffle for 3 free yearbooks! All proceeds go to the 4 Diamonds Fund and this year’s Mini-Thon.
Congratulations to these winners from the Grease – Spin the Wheel Challlenge in the cafeteria. They should stop by room 209 on Wednesday to see Mrs. Mintzer and claim their prizes: Kenny Weidman, Julia Young, Andrew Eshleman They each will receive 2 tickets to the show and snacks at the concession stand, a sheet of raffle tickets, and a $10 Wayback gift card. We hope that everyone will come to see the show for our last two performances this weekend on March 11 and 12 at 7:30 pm. Grease is the word!
