Attention PM: Come out to Jake’s Wayback Burgers, this week on Wednesday, April 6, from 5 to 8 pm to support Penn Manor families dealing with cancer. YHL is sponsoring summer camps for children of families affected by cancer. Come enjoy a burger and support a great cause!

Manor FFA is hosting a kids carnival to fundraise for Penn Manor’s Mini-Thon. The carnival will be at Pequea BIC Church on THIS Sunday April 10th from 1-4 PM. It will be a day to spend with the family! Includes fun, food and games.

The NHS is holding a Sling Shot contest in the courtyard during lunch, come on out a try your chances. .50 a sling or $1 for 3 tries. Winners will put their name in a raffle to win $25 gift card to Sheetz or Tropical Smoothy. All money from the Sling Shot Contest is being donated to THON!

Attention Scrubs Club Members: You won’t want to miss our guest speaker coming this Thursday during club period room-246. See you there!

Attention girls interested in being a part of the Penn Manor girls’ volleyball team: Penn Manor Girls’ Volleyball is hosting open gyms from 6-8pm on Wednesdays in April at the high school’s East Gym. Please note the time change: Girls’ volleyball open gyms will be from 6-8pm on Wednesdays in April. Please contact Coach Joyce with any questions.

Reminder to all NHS members to turn in their money for Chicken Barbecue tickets to Mrs. Henderson by Wednesday April 6th. NHS members who are working the chicken bbq on Saturday, We are looking for a few people who are willing to shift their work time from 6-9 am time slot to the 11-2 time slot. Please let Mrs. Henderson know if you are available during these prime pick up times Thanks

Attention Serteen members: There will be no club meeting this week. Your permissions slips for the Long’s Park Field Trip are still due. Please turn them in at room 383 in the green folder this week.

Spring Fling Crew:  If you missed Monday’s deadline for the sub order forms, please turn in your completed forms today in the main office.

It’s getting time to ditch the winter coats and grab your flip flops! For anyone in need, there are spring and summer clothes available for FREE at the Millersville Brethren-in-Christ Church on Saturday, April 9th from 8:00am-11:00am. The church is located at 3116 Blue Rock Road. Spring is approaching quickly and we all know what that really means, PROM SEASON! Ladies, there are also prom dresses available if you are planning on attending and in need of a dress! They hope to assist in making your special night, even better!

Attention Seniors… Prom tickets are available for sale next week. They are $50 for PM seniors and $55 for all other guests. They are available for purchase in central complex before school from 7:15-7:35am, during all three lunches, and after school from 2:45-3:30pm. Please make sure you have the exact amount, No change please. Make sure you take care of your obligations in the main office or you cannot purchase your tickets.

FBLA members, please remember your sub order form and money is due at our meeting on Thursday, April 7!

Attention Seniors: Planning for this years Baccalaureate Service will begin this Wednesday during homeroom. If you are interested, come to room 220 during homeroom. Questions, see Mrs. Rottmund.

Penn Manor Marching Band is having it’s annual book sale on Friday, April 29th from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 30th from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Approximately 20,000 books will be grouped by category and displayed on tables in the high school cafeteria. Everything will be priced to sell, with paperbacks and hardbacks priced separately. Donations are needed for this event and will be accepted on Thursday evenings, April 7th, 14th and 21st from 5:30 until 7:30. A drive up drop off will be available at the outside door to the band room. Volunteers will be available to help unload books. We accept gently used books (hardcover or soft), puzzles, DVD’s, and games (no textbooks please). Attention Freshmen Class of 2019! Don’t forget about your Claire’s Gourmet fundraiser! Orders are due on Tuesday April 12. Top seller receives a $100 Visa gift card, and all you need to do is sell 10 items to receive a $25 Amazon gift card! So get out there and SELL! Remember this fundraiser will help to fund many of your class events such as prom and senior class trip.

Attention seniors: Prom tickets will be on sale from April 11 to 15. Prior to being able to purchase a ticket or have a ticket purchased for you, all financial obligations must be taken care of. This applies to any obligation that is for a lost book, unpaid lab fees, cafeteria charges, or laptop damages. Student obligations are listed in your student account in Sapphire. Please see an administrator if you have any questions.

Attention any senior who has taken or is currently taking Honors Engineering Principles. There is a scholarship award available to a graduating senior for engineering excellence. To apply, see Mrs. Miller in room 102 for a short application. Remember all applications are due back no later than Friday, April 8.

The Post Prom Committee will be hosting a fundraiser at Ambush Paintball on Sunday April 17th and 24th. Cost to play is $40/person and tickets will be on sale during lunch on March 16th, 23rd & 30th and on April 6th,8th,13th & 15th or until all 200 tickets have been purchased. This event will be open to the middle schools as wells, so if you are interested buy your tickets early. We are also looking for a few teachers to join in on the fun so please stop by the ticket table over lunch to volunteer.
