Attention students who will be attending the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center next school year. The Lancaster County CTC will be holding a new student orientation on Thursday, May 5 at all four campus locations. The Health Care Cluster new student orientation will start at 5:00pm. All other program orientations will begin at 6:00pm. Questions see your school counselor.
Attention freshman that sold items during the Claire’s gourmet fundraiser! Please plan to pick up your items on Wednesday May 4th in central complex prior to dismissal. If you would rather have a parent come to pick up your items after school, they may come from 3:00 until 6;00pm. It is EXTREMELY important that all items are picked up on Wednesday because leftover items cannot be refrigerated! If you sold 10 or more items, your $25 amazon gift card will be given to you when you pick up your items. Thank you for making this fundraiser a huge success! Over $1700 was raised for your freshman class! Again, congratulations to Morgan Huber who was the top seller! Morgan will receive a $100 Visa gift card for her efforts!
Anyone interested in playing ice hockey with Penn Manor Ice Hockey Club for the 2016 ~ 2017 season, please stop by the office to pick up a flyer. Registration is on Wednesday May 4th at Manor Middle School at 630pm.
Attention Juniors who still need to complete their graduation project: You will be assigned a presentation time for either the afternoon of the early dismissal day on May 13 or the morning of the keystone exams on May 17 – 20. There are a limited number of presentation times still available on the afternoon of May 13. If you would prefer to present on this day, stop by the main office to put your name on the sign up list. The finalized list of presentation times will be posted on the windows outside of the main office no later than the end of the day on Friday, May 6. If you have any questions, see Ms. O’Connor.
National Day of Prayer is this Thursday, May 5 at 7am. First Priority is sponsoring this event. Meet at the flag pole in front of school for a time of prayer for our school, our community and our world. See you at 7AM Thursday!
Students interested in Fall Dual Enrollment classes next year, reminder that the applications are due to the guidance office this Friday, May 6th.
Attention Students and faculty! It’s getting warm out again, and what’s warm weather at Penn Manor without the annual Spring Fling?! Come out to Comet Field off of 741 on Friday, May 6th from 3-9:30 and enjoy food, live performances, and games with your friends and family. This year we have many new activities including a hot dog eating contest, water slide kickball, various bounce houses and much much more! Fireworks will begin around 9:00 p.m. Be sure to tell your friends and we hope to see you at Comet Field on May 6th!
Yearbook Distribution will take place on Thursday, May 12th during all blocks in the Distance Learning Lab located in the library. Any students who are absent or unable to pick up their yearbook that day will have the opportunity to pick up it up in the DLL during lunch on the following dates: May 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th. We ask that students enter through the hallway doors closest to the lab so that the students working in the library are not disturbed. Students may not pick up yearbooks for siblings, relatives, friends, etc. Extra yearbooks are also available in the cafeteria during the dates listed above for anyone who wants to purchase a 2015-2016 yearbook, while supplies last. Additionally, any C.T.C student who pre-ordered a yearbook may pick it up at the reception area, before or after school until 3:00p.m., on May 12th or during the following week. All students must sign for their yearbook.
Attention NHS members: The NHS meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 28th will now be held on Wednesday, May 4th during homeroom. We will still meet in the cafeteria. Please see Mrs. Henderson or Mrs. Myers prior to the meeting if you have a conflict. Again, the meeting is Wednesday, May 4th, during homeroom.
Anyone interested in trying out for Penn Manor Cheerleading should plan to attend the open gym held on, Wednesday 5/4 from 6-8pm in the Auxiliary Gym.
Have you ever watched the Nathan’s hot dog eating contest and dreamed of being up on the stage? Well now is your chance. Spring Fling is holding their first annual hot dog eating contest. It is only $2 and you can resister in the main office. The rules will be with the sign up sheet. The person who can down the most dogs wins a T-shirt.
