Attention all juniors and sophomores who are planning to attend CTC for the 16-17 school year. Applications for financial aid are available in the counseling office. If you would like to request assistance to help defer the cost of your textbooks, uniform, tools, or supplies please complete a financial aid application. Completed applications are due back to the counseling office by June 7. Questions see your school counselor.

Attention girls interested in playing basketball next year…On Wednesday, May 25 we will be holding a mandatory player/parent basketball meeting for any girl entering grades 7-12 who may be interested in playing basketball next school year. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. This meeting is very important, so please make it a priority to attend.

Attention all Track and Field Athletes: Turn in your uniform to Coach Myers as soon as possible in room 309. Any uniform not returned will result in an obligation. Reminder the team picnic is Wednesday June 1st at Millersville Borough Park at 6 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring an entree or salad and desert to share.

Seniors: If you received a letter with an obligation, please fulfill obligation to Mrs. Broderick in the Main Office by Friday, May 27th. Please see Dr. D’Amico if you have any questions or concerns.

Attention FFA members planning to exhibit swine at Lampeter or Solanco Fair: A Pork Quality Assurance meeting will be held on Monday, June 6 from 3-4 PM. Students are required to be certified to show swine at the local fairs. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Fellenbaum.

A seniors: Many of the elementary schools desire to congratulate you on your graduation from high school by inviting you to stop by the elementary school you attended. The following are the dates and times that the schools would like you to visit: Tuesday, June 7: Hambright: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 8: Central Manor at 9:15 a.m. during their all school assembly Eshelman at11:00 a.m. Letort at11:00 a.m. Martic at 11:00 a.m. Each of the schools ask that you come wearing your cap and gown. They would like you to serve as an example for the younger students in our district.

2016-2017 AP Chemistry Students report to room 410 on Thursday May 26th anytime during 3rd block to receive your summer work and chemistry books.

The Penn Manor music department will welcome special guests, Portal Percussion in concert on Thursday, May 26. Portal is a Lancaster-based professional percussion ensemble. Come out for a concert that will feature both Portal and the Penn Manor Percussion Ensemble. The concert starts at 7:00 pm in the HS auditorium and admission is by donation only.

Attention any girls interested in trying out for the girls tennis team next fall. There will be a brief meeting at 2:45 pm on Thursday May 26th in the Athletic Office.

All students interested in participating on the cross-country team next fall are asked to attend a team meeting in the cafeteria on Wednesday, May 25 at 2:50. Students unable to attend may pick up information about the program in the Athletic director’s office.

THIS WEEK’S GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM IS CANCELED. ALL VOLLEYBALL FANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO GO SUPPORT THE BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL TEAM IN THE DISTRICT 3 SEMI-FINALS AT DALLASTOWN HIGH SCHOOL, 6PM ON WEDNESDAY.

Help the Hungry Over the summer months food drive donations to community food banks decrease and they need your help to maintain the support needed to assist Penn Manor families over the summer months. Starting on Wednesday, May 25th and running through Friday June 3rd Penn Manor High School is conducting a Summer Food Drive. Your first block teacher will be provided with a list of food needed for the drive. The first block class with the most food donated by the end of the drive will start their day with donuts and a drink next Monday, June 6th. All donations will be greatly appreciated. Let’s finish the year by starting the summer helping others.

Current Juniors: Franklin and Marshall College provides one free dual enrollment course a semester to a senior student. If you would like to apply for the fall dual enrollment course at Franklin and Marshall, pick up an application in the School Counselors office. Applications are due back in the school counselors office Friday, June 3rd.
