Upcoming Counseling Activities

The High School Counselors are hosting the following events for the Penn Manor High School community. More information about these can be found at https://blogs.pennmanor.net/pmhscounseling/events.

Financial Aid Night  6pm October 24th in the High School Auditorium. Students and families of any grade can benefit from this event. 12th and 11th graders are particularly encouraged to attend.

CTC Tours  On October 25th, permission slips are due for the CTC Tours coming up in November. On November 5th the 10th grade students tour the half-day CTC introduction programs at Willow Street CTC. 11th grade students tour to the full-day CTC programs are on the following days: Brownstown on November 12th, Mount Joy on November 13th, Willow Street on November 14th. 

How to get the most out of Education Day College & Career Fair October 31st during homeroom. Students can sign up on clipboard in school counselor’s office to attend this event in the library.

Education Day Monday November 4th from 11am-1pm.  Parents welcome to attend this program held in the Central Complex. Many of these colleges will also be at the Lancaster County College Fair held at Conestoga Valley High School in the evening.

Thaddeus Stevens Early Enrollment Meeting November 11th at 5:15pm in the High School Library. This is a meeting for 10th and 11th grade students and families interested in attending Thaddeus Stevens during their senior year. Please RSVP to dana.wile@pennmanor.net

Manufacturing and Food Science Career Seminar  November 18th 9:30am. Representatives from Advanced Food Products will be here talking about manufacturing career, and R&D Scientist in the food industry. This event is for students and classes.

FAFSA Completion Lab November 14th at 6:00pm RSVP to Marjean.long@pennmanor.net if you would like to attend this event in the HS Library to fill out your FAFSA with help from the PHEAA Representative. This event is for all 12th grade families and 11th grade families of students applying to Thaddeus Stevens Early Enrollment.
