Seniors and juniors who still need to obtain a parking pass may do so on the following dates and times.
August 10 from 9am to 11am
August 11 from 9am to 11am
August 12 from 1pm to 3pm
August 15 from 8am to 11am
August 17 from 1pm to 3pm
August 19 from 8am to 11am
Students will need to bring their license, registration and proof of insurance along with $20 to the main office. If you have any questions, please contact the high school main office at 872-9520.
Parking sign-up will occur for seniors on August 8 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Juniors and seniors may purchase a parking pass on August 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Students need to bring the following: owner’s card, proof of insurance, driver’s license, $20.00 (an additional $20.00 will be collected at the beginning of the spring semester). All students requesting a parking pass need to have a signed drug screening permission form on file. Forms will be available each day, but then will need to be signed by a parent and returned to the high school office before a student may park on campus.
Laptop distribution for the 2016-17 school year will be held on the following days.
Students are strongly encouraged to obtain their laptop during the times described above. Students who do not obtain their laptop on these days will be scheduled to pick up their laptop on the first day of school during the extended homeroom period. In order to obtain a laptop, students and parents must sign the 1:1 laptop agreement.
Orientation for new students is scheduled for Wednesday, August 10, at 9:00 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. The orientation will begin in the high school auditorium with a brief introductory session. Attendees will then take part in sessions where academic expectations, general guidelines and counseling services will be discussed. After the sessions, attendees will be able to tour the building to locate their classrooms. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of their schedules to orientation.
Student schedules will be posted to the Sapphire Portal the week of July 25. Students and parents may login using their account information from last school year. If you do not have an account, or are in need of assistance with your account, please visit the Penn Manor School District’s website www.pennmanor.net for more information under the PARENTS tab. Parents are strongly encouraged to create a private login that is separate from their student’s account. In order to access the 2016-17 schedule, the date range for the schedule must be set for August 23, 2016 to June 7, 2017 school year.
