Eyewear Event for Penn Manor Family Fund 3/14

Dear Penn Manor Parent:
 
DO YOU WEAR GLASSES?
 
We have a unique opportunity to raise money for our Penn Manor Family Fund, which helps Penn Manor families in need!  We are hosting a Fundraiser EYEWEAR EVENT by ModernEYES Optical on March 14 at the High School Cafeteria from 3-8pm (drop-in).  You can find your new look for 2013 & help one of our families in need! The event flyer with all the details is attached.

ModernEYES Optical is well respected in our community and has been helping our students who need glasses but may not be able to afford them. For more information on ModernEYES Optical, visit www.meoptical.com or check them out on Facebook. 
 
Please forward this invite to your friends & family!  Everyone you know that wears glasses has to buy their eyeglasses somewhere.  If they buy them at our event, they get a good deal and 20% of all sales will be donated to our Penn Manor Family Fund!

Superintendent Evaluation

SAT Registration Deadline- February 8th

February 8, 2013 is the registration deadline for the March 9th SAT to be administered at PMHS.
We strongly recommend that all college-bound juniors take the SAT here at PMHS on March 9th.

Scholarship Information for Seniors

Seniors and parents of seniors,
College can be very expensive, and any liitle bit of money helps. The Penn Manor Counseling Department has a website that highlights local and county scholarships (see attached instructions on how to access these). Many of these scholarships are available just for Penn Manor seniors and are organized by due date. Please encourage your son/daughter to apply for these scholarships. If you have any questions, please contact the counseling department.

Seminar for College-Bound Athletes

In an effort to educate our parents and athletes about athletic scholarships and the college recruiting process, Dynamite Sports will conduct an hour long seminar entitled “Guiding the College-Bound Athlete” on

Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at 7:30 p.m., in the Penn Manor H.S. Cafeteria.

Although it is NOT mandatory, every athlete that is considering playing college sports should attend along with their parents.  This seminar will help students and parents become more knowledgeable about athletic scholarships and the recruiting process.
