Penn Manor High School
Wednesday, December 2, 2015, Day 3
Students interested in studying abroad over the Summer or hosting an international student should stop by the counseling department for more information! Scholarship opportunities are available as well.
Attention sophomores: If you sold Gertrude Hawk candy, it is scheduled to be delivered to your homeroom on Thursday, December 3 this week. If you have a very large order, you will want to make arrangements with your parents to pick you up from school on Thursday to help with transportation of the boxes. Thank you!
Attention students going on the Vermont ski trip. Your final payment is due to Miss Beaver by Monday December 7th. If any students are still interested in going there are a few spots left. Please see Miss Beaver in room 381 or Officer Hottenstein if you have any questions.
Attention Seniors! This is the last week to sell your Krispee Kreme donuts. This could be our last fundraiser if we do a stellar job! Sell, Sell, Sell! Place your orders and money in the blue box in the main office. Thanks!
Student Council wants to thank everyone for their participation in the giving tree this year. All tags have been taken. Please return all tags with gifts by December 11th.
Attention students who would like to travel: There are open seats for the spring Montreal/Quebec City trip. Even if you are not currently a French student, you may be able to go. See Mrs. Klingaman in 210 before Friday if you are interested! Also, students who have sold Quebec trip fundraisers, please turn in your orders immediately!
Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? New Scholastic book orders have arrived in the library and select classrooms. Stop by now to get your orders in before the holiday.
JETS 2016 All juniors and seniors interested in this year’s JETS competition please see Mr. McGlynn in room 410 to be included in the selection for the team. All students interested in engineering should participate.
With the Thanksgiving rush over, food banks in our area are in need of more food to supply our community. Although there are people in need at all times of the year, this season is especially hard. Many are living without the essentials that so many of us take for granted. Please consider donating to the Serteen Food Drive in your block 3 class. We will continue to collect until Friday. The winning block 3 class will earn a pizza party. If everyone pitches in we can do amazing things!
