The Young Humanitarian League is hosting a children’s book drive next week–April 18th through the 22nd. The books collected will be given to the Penn Manor Family Fund to be distributed to the kids of Penn Manor Families that have financial hardships. We are asking for any children’s books and beginner chapter books. Drop boxes will be located in the library, the office, and Room 207 with Ms. Brady. Thank you!

Students, Listen about these two exciting Career Seminars coming up in April. This Thursday, the 14th Authors of the book “Raspberry Pi Hacks” and employees of Red Hat will be speaking in the auditorium at 9:30. Students can sign up on the counseling blog under “events” tab and talk to their 2nd block teacher. Next Thursday, April 21st will be the Food and Service Industry Career Seminar with speakers talking about food science, restaurant management, the hotel industry, and more! Attention Senior on the Baccalaureate Committee – Our meeting this Wednesday will be held in Room 322! Again, out meeting will be held in Room 322.

Congratulations to the girls lacrosse team over their victory over Hempfield. Come out and support the team this Thursday night. JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 7:00pm.

Prom is coming up May 13th and tickets are on sale this week! You must have exact change and Checks can be made payable to “PMHS Class of 2016”. Ticket prices are $50 for seniors and $55 for all guests. Pick up guest forms in the main office. You can purchase tickets any day this week in the central complex before school from 7:15-7:35, during all lunches, and after school from 2:45-3:30. WARNING! If you do not purchase your tickets this week, you will not be able to attend Prom. Thanks!

“Tickets for the joint school Gatsby Dance at the Marriot will be sold next week during all lunches. The dance is on Saturday April 16th from 7-10pm. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go to the Four Diamonds Fund to help families that have children battling pediatric cancer. See Nicolette Mowry for any details or questions.

Attention students: This Saturday night, Varsity Club will be hosting a teacher-student basketball game at 7:00pm in the east gym. Tickets are two dollars at the door to come and watch! Please come out and support this event as all of the money will be going towards the four diamonds fund.

It’s getting time to ditch the winter coats and grab your flip flops! For anyone in need, there are spring and summer clothes available for FREE at the Millersville Brethren-in-Christ Church on Saturday, April 9th from 8:00am-11:00am. The church is located at 3116 Blue Rock Road. Spring is approaching quickly and we all know what that really means, PROM SEASON! Ladies, there are also prom dresses available if you are planning on attending and in need of a dress! They hope to assist in making your special night, even better!

Attention PM: Come out to Jake’s Wayback Burgers, this week on Wednesday, April 6, from 5 to 8 pm to support Penn Manor families dealing with cancer. YHL is sponsoring summer camps for children of families affected by cancer. Come enjoy a burger and support a great cause!

Cost to play is $40/person and tickets will be on sale during lunch on March 16th, 23rd & 30th and on April 6th,8th,13th & 15th or until all 200 tickets have been purchased. This event will be open to the middle schools as wells, so if you are interested buy your tickets early. We are also looking for a few teachers to join in on the fun so please stop by the ticket table over lunch to volunteer.

Attention any senior who has taken or is currently taking Honors Engineering Principles. There is a scholarship award available to a graduating senior for engineering excellence.
