Admission representatives from over 70 technical, two and four year colleges will gather in the east gym to share information about their schools. Please enter through the Central Complex Lobby for the event.

If you are unable to attend Penn Manor during the day the Lancaster County Counselors will be sponsoring a college night on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Conestoga Valley High School at 6:30 pm.  There will be 200 college admission representatives at the event.

Seniors–Last chance to order your cap and gown!

We have added one last day to order caps, gowns and graduation tassels.  Jeff Crouse, from Herff Jones, will be here on Tuesday, October 19 during lunches.  SENIORS–place your orders now!  You must have a cap and gown to participate in graduation.

Financial Aid Night/Career Planning Workshop-10/18/10

Plan on attending this informative session sponsored by PHEAA (PA Higher Education Assistance Agency), Millersville University and the Penn Manor HS Counseling Office.  We will begin in the HS auditorium at 7:00 PM.   Topics include:

  • How to plan and pay for college and career school
  • Resources available to students and parents
  • Scholarships
  • Deadlines
  • Upcoming career and college related events
  • In addition, there will be a Life After High School–Career Exploration session.  We will walk parents through a program that may help students plan for the future.  Information about graduation projects will also be provided.

Super Wednesday–10/13/2010

Wednesday, October 13 is Super Wednesday! Students in grades 9 will participate in presentations by the counseling department on four-year planning and post-secondary options.  Sophomores will take the PLAN test, while Juniors will take the PSAT.  Seniors that were not proficient on the PSSA, will participate in a PSSA retake prep sessions.  The prep session information is below.  Seniors that scored proficient or advanced on the PSSAs last spring may report to school at 9:50.  There will be a class meeting for seniors beginning promptly at 10 AM in the auditorium providing students with information on Graduation Project presentations.  PSSA retakes for Math, Reading, Writing and Science are scheduled for the last week of October.

2011 Post Prom Meeting

The October post prom meeting will be on Monday, October 18 at 6:30 PM in room 325 at the high school.

Homecoming Dance-10/2/10

This weekend’s homecoming activities will conclude with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday from 7 PM to 10 PM.  Tickets are $8.00 per person or $15.00 a couple.  All tickets will be sold at the door at Central Complex.  The dance is semi-formal (no jeans).

Student Pictures–Grades 9-11

School pictures will be taken on Friday, 9/24/2010 for all Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen.  All students in grades 9-11 will have pictures taken for a school ID and for the yearbook.  To order pictures, use the photo form that came home the first day of school.  Additional photo order forms are available in the office.
