Sorry for the traffic inconvenience!

Sorry for the traffic inconvenience!

We apologize for the disruption to the traffic pattern at the high school that is caused by the work to the overpass. Minor damage occurred to the exterior of the overpass during a storm in early December. The contractors worked over the vacation to repair the damage, but because of the cold temperatures the work is taking longer than expected. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. In the mean time, we encourage student drivers to allow a few more minutes in the morning. In the afternoon all car traffic and some of the busses will exit by Model Avenue onto George Street. Thank you for your patience as the work is completed.

H1N1

H1N1 vaccine is now available to the general public through certified providers, and possibly your own doctor. The vaccination program has been expanded to everyone because approximately three million doses of vaccine have been allocated to healthcare providers who administered it to individuals in the five recommended priority groups.

The Department of Health is planning vaccination clinics for January 8 and 9 throughout the commonwealth for Pennsylvanians who do not have access to it through his or her healthcare provider or do not have a provider. You can register now to receive the vaccine.

Individuals must schedule an appointment ahead of time, and can do so 24 hours a day at www.H1N1inPA.com under “What’s Hot.” Those without Internet access can call 1-877-PA HEALTH (1-877-724-3258), Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.; and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone lines are limited.
