Wednesday, October 12 is Super Wednesday! Students in grades 9 will participate in presentations by the counseling department on four-year planning and post-secondary options. Sophomores will take the PLAN test, while Juniors will take the PSAT. Seniors who have transportation should report to the High School for a class meeting beginning promptly at 10:15 AM. This meeting will provide students with information on caps and gowns and other information necessary for their Senior year.

Homecoming Events
Penn Manor High School homecoming events begin with Tailgating sponsored by the high school Student Council on the parking deck at 5:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2011. All proceeds from the tailgating food and activities will go to the Jeff Churchill scholarship fund. The homecoming football game against McCaskey begins at 7:00 PM on Friday.
On Saturday, October 8th PMHS students may participate in the Homecoming dance from 7:00-10:00 PM. Cost for the dance is $8/person or $15/couple and tickets will be sold at the door.

Senior Class Meeting and Late Start
Due to school wide benchmark assessments, seniors with transportation are able to come to school late on Wednesday, September 21 and Thursday, September 22. If no transportation is available, seniors should come on the bus and report to the cafeteria.
Seniors report at 9:30 AM to block 1 on Wednesday.
Seniors report to the auditorium at 8:40 AM on Thursday for a class meeting.
Picture Day–Friday, September 23
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors are scheduled to have photos taken on Friday. All students should be photographed for ID cards and yearbook. Teachers have the picture day schedule posted. If you are purchasing pictures, be sure to bring your order form and payment with you.
Parents’ Night–Thursday, September 15–6:45 PM
Thursday, September 15 is our Fall Parents’ Night at the high school. Parents’ Night will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the auditorium. You are encouraged to attend this program, which will give you an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers. Your son or daughter will be asked to complete this schedule on Monday, September 12th and bring home the schedule below to assist you in finding classrooms and teachers. Please bring this with you to Parents’ Night. Students will be dismissed from school at 12:20 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011.
